Cottage Fit For An Admiral

Curlew was indeed built for an Admiral, in fact the title deeds stipulated that he should be rowed in a longboat to Plymouth Dockyard. Newly refurbished, just off the central square, Curlew Cottage is the ideal self-catering option for up to 8 + 2 people in a style to suit today's sea-lovers!

Lovely and Spacious

There are 4 bedrooms on 3 levels plus one living room with sofa bed, an open-plan kitchen/dining room, bathrooms with WCs (one en-suite), one separate wet-room shower and an extra cloakroom WC on the ground floor. With a sea view on every floor.

Cosy and Homely

The 3 oven Aga range cooker makes cooking really easy but for times when you don't want to cook, there are are two great cafe choices as well as child-friendly pubs moments away. The water is heated by solar panels (with conventional energy back-up) and the central heating draws on solar power as well. Although there is no parking space at the cottage, you can unload at the front door and the car-park is only about 100 metres away. Further info here. It's also a great choice for a car-free holiday, with the Cawsand Ferry taking you from Plymouth Barbican pretty much to the door!

"We had a wonderful week in Curlew Cottage. The house has been beautifully renovated. It is very comfortable. The top bedroom is a dream and must have one of the best views in the village.”

Gaby, London Jun 2016

"We had a fantastic stay, and the home is presented to really high standard - very comfortable and it feels warm and homely. Very welcoming and the most amazing views to boot. Furniture is very comfortable, especially the beds".

’Even with the changeable weather conditions this week, the cottage itself has offered such a warm, welcoming atmosphere and outstanding views, hence compensating for the external conditions. It’s beautiful.’ Sam, London, June 2018
